Slade Green/Grove Park Depot Maintenance
Slade Green Depot has been in existence since 1899 and was once regarded as the major motive power depot on the South East Railway Line. It has changed a number of times during its existence, but most notably in 1991 when it had a brand new shed built able to accommodate 8 dead end tracks. The cost approximately £20 Million and was tailored for then new Networker Fleet. In 1995 Rail Tech Group began providing monthly maintenance to the Slade Green depot and its subsidiary at Grove Park both for Signalling, Telecoms and Depot Protection Systems. Maintenance is carried out on a monthly basis to all of the numerous assets within the depot including its modern Solid State Interlocking panel. The maintenance contract includes providing regular feedback reports and also undertaking variations to the contract when equipment needs renewing or becomes life expired.
