Rail Tech Training becomes an approved ELC learning provider
The Ministry of defence promotes lifelong learning among members of the Armed Forces, and this is encouraged through the Learning Credits Schemes. The ELC scheme is designed to provide financial support to personnel who qualify to help pay towards the cost of higher level learning and effective achievement of a nationally recognised qualification at Level 3 and above. Rail Tech Training is proud to announce we have gained accreditation in June 2009 as an approved ELC learning provider. Due to our continued commitment to deliver exceptional training to our external clients and employees at a higher nationally recognised level, the judging panel of MoD personnel saw fit to grant us provider status.
The ELC scheme complements the SLC (standard learning credit) to further motivate full time members of the Armed Forces to pursue their personal development, both during their service and for up to ten years afterwards. Here at Rail Tech Training we are now capable of fully encouraging Armed Forces personnel to enter the rail industry by delivering the transition and training that they need.
