Rail Tech Training Partners With MoD and CTP
Rail Tech Training has joined forces with the MoD and CTP to offer employment and training for eligible service leavers in order for them to make the transition back to civilian life. Rail Tech Training offer packages of training are tailored for ex Mod staff and offer the path to ultimately becoming a fully qualified and IRSE licensed signal installation team leader.
The Career Transition Partnership (CTP) is the name given to a partnering agreement between the Ministry of Defence (MoD) and Right Management, who are global career development and outplacement specialists. This simply means the MoD contract the CTP to provide eligible Service leavers with career transition services as part of their resettlement process. This is because the MoD recognises that making the transition from the Armed Forces into civilian life can be daunting. Some Service leavers will have joined the Forces straight from school and will never have applied for employment anywhere else.
Here at Rail Tech Training we fully appreciate the skills and commitment that ex MoD staff can bring to our business, this is why we are looking to recruit eight assistant installers in April 2009 and eight in June 2009.
Pending medical tests and interview stage, the successful candidates will be employed by Rail Tech and will be trained within our facilities in order to obtain NVQ qualifications and an IRSE license.
For further information regarding courses please see the MoD section of our website, alternatively contact Richard Willsher on 01473 242367.
