Managing our Fleet

Latest initiative sees the installation of a new high tech Vehicle Management System (VMS) installed throughout the company's fleet. The satellite-based system affords complete real time data on the position and activities of all vehicles providing us with the confidence that our employees are where they should be at the correct time, and just as importantly that the journey was made safely and legally. The decision to install a VMS was not made lightly, not only due to expense but also in the potential HR issues. However we believe that the future of the railways is in accountability dispelling the stigma created by the "cowboy" contractor. We also believe that for an industry consisting of transient work sites our duty of care commences long before these sites are reached.
