Company History

The Rail Tech Group is a private limited company that has specialised in the safe, efficient delivery of Railway & Signal Engineering, Telecoms, Labour Supply and Technical and Safety Training for many years. 

Our customers consist of Network Rail Maintenance and Infrastructure and Investment, and all of the Major First Tier suppliers to the Rail Industry. In addition we work with a large amount of smaller specialist companies in variety of works such as bridge renewals, station or platform alterations. With most of these customers we hold a preferred supplier status operating under either framework or fixed price contracts. 

Our operations are centrally managed from a modern purpose built head office based in East Anglia with further temporary offices and depots established where and as required to meet our customer's requirements. 

Our business model is underpinned by a large training academy that enables us to recruit and develop our employees to the competence the industry requires and in particular introduce new people to the railway. 

The large annual investment we make in training is also part funded by the external training and assessment we provide as a leading training provider to other companies including Network Rail and the industry as a whole.
